Redding Area Summer Ultimate League

Starting May 9 and running through the fall, the Redding Ultimate Association will be hosting a summer ultimate league (RASUL) each Wednesday from 7:00pm until 10:30pm at Caldwell Park. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. Cleats are encouraged but not required, and no other equipment is required (though a water bottle is recommended).

April board meeting

The Redding Ultimate Association monthly board meeting will be held at 8pm on April 4th, 2012 at Alicia's house.

These meetings are open to the public, any non-board members who would like to attend are asked to RSVP to the secretary at least a day before the meeting.

Turkey Toss writeup

It had been rainy the whole week before, but Saturday, November 26th was a cool, sunny fall day, a perfect day for ultimate. Over 30 players showed up for the first annual Redding Ultimate Association Turkey Toss at Enterprise Park, and the event was a great success. All four teams completed four games each at a impressive level of play, and all in all it was a great day!

New player clinic a success

This past weekend the Redding Ultimate Association hosted its first new player clinic at Enterprise Park. We had pretty good numbers: eleven new players, with seven experienced players helping out. The clinic included lots of good skills and drills and an epic scrimmage (final score = 5 v 4).

The next new player clinic will be October 29th, 2011, also at 10am at Enterprise Park. Hope to see you there!

Saturday, October 29th 2011, the Redding Ultimate Association will be hosting a free new player clinic at Enterprise Park at 10am and lasting 2 hours. This event will focus on basic skills and fundamentals and will include gameplay, drills, and an introduction to the rules of Ultimate.
